Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Minot

Very spacious and clean rooms. Property itself was a little worn, but all amenities were great. Wonderful complimentary breakfast. Staff very hospitable and friendly. Slightly disappointed at the pet fee - wasn't aware a fee would be charged until checking into the hotel ($50/animal).

Wonderful!! Entire place is beautiful and so clean inside and out. Staff is exceptionally friendly, even cleaning staff were very helpful and personable. I actually left my watch in our room when we checked out, and staff turned it in, and also made sure to verify I was the rightful owner. 5 stars!! Oh and weekends they have hot breakfast!!!

Called ahead at 11 am as we were travelling and I believe that I had food poisoning. Asked for early check in was denied. Tried stopping in at 12:30 to see if we could get a room early still denied. Spent 2 more hours sitting in a vehicle vomiting. No compassion at all.

The layout of the room was very nice. It didn't appear the hotel was full yet we were given a room that was obviously being worked on. When we arrived to check in there was a sign at the front desk stating "Rooms cleaned upon request". That was a red flag for what we were about to see. Unfortunately, we were about to learn that they may not be cleaning rooms in between customer stays. In the room they gave us, there was wall spackling and patching throughout- stains on the couch, and long black hairs on the bathroom floor and in the shower. There was also short curly hair in the shower and black and yellow mold in the shower. The pillows were very small like they had been squished smaller to make them look fluffier. The bed appeared to have clean sheets. The door to the room sticks and needs to be leveled so it will close appropriately. When getting ready for bed, I was gargling and while looking up saw a wadded-up dried piece of toilet paper stuck to the ceiling. Really? What is this place? I decided to take pictures. At that point, we decided that we would never stay at this hotel again. It was a non-refundable room so beware. Non-refundable may be code for stay at your own risk. This stay brought up a lot of questions for us. It didn't appear the hotel was full so why were we given a room that obviously was being worked on and was left unfinished and unclean? Why weren't we given the option to have another room when we checked in?

Great place to stay! Friendly helpful staff! Clean and quiet! Good location! Reasonable rates! Nice breakfast!

The room was lovely and the front desk service and breakfast service was great. Bummed that there wasn’t ice machines on the floors. Otherwise nice place overall.
