The Achilleion Palace

The Achilles Palace is a famous royal palace on Corfu Island, once the palace of the French royal nobility. The interior is elegantly decorated and luxurious, full of European nobles. The palace is located at the highest point of Corfu Island. The scenery is very pleasant. It is definitely the most worth visiting attraction on Corfu Island.



It is really worth going here! It was built by the Venetians who occupied Corfu in the 16th century. It was previously the ancient city of Corfu. After it was destroyed, the Venetians built this military fortress. From the castle, you can see the panoramic view of Corfu City opposite, and the beautiful scenery of the blue coast of the Mediterranean Sea! beauty!


